Sunday Roasts at The Pav
Why Sunday Roast? Kim has always felt that cooking is her way of showing love and care for those people around her. Sunday’s at The Pav are her way of bringing this to our friends, neighbours and weekend visitors. Here you can enjoy local, authentic food prepared classically from the comforts of some of the best seats on the Tinja property. It’s the perfect venue for your casual Sunday family outing or your food fix between wine tastings.
What to expect? The Zin House team never sacrifice quality or locality, that is why you can find the best of everything for our Sunday Roast at The Pav. The buffet spread changes weekly according to seasonality and availability, but you can always expect to see the favourites. Below outlines an example of what you could expect.
Think antipasto to start, featuring house-made sourdough bread oozing with Pepe Saya butter; mounds of High Valley Mudgee feta; pumpkin hummus topped with dukkah including Mudgee gourmet hazelnuts; Alto olives marinated with lemon, herbs & Rylstone Olive Press olive oil; sopressa & cold meats; and every kind of pickle the Zin garden can produce.
For mains you’ll be seeing juicy free range roast chicken from Grasslands Poultry; crispy porchetta courtesy of our friend Arnie; fresh snapper and whole glazed ham smoked by the local S&S butchery team. These can be paired with your choice of Tinja honey glazed carrots, crispy duck fat potatoes and roast pumpkin, garden salad greens, or all of the above and more.
Then finish with a selection of desserts from coconut cream and brown sugar rice pudding; Spencer Cocoa and hazelnut chocolate brownie; olive oil & dessert wine sponge cake; fresh fruit platters and of course the pavlova.
To drink? Expect to sip your favourite Lowe wines while you enjoy The Pav’s spread. Lowe’s wines are available by the glass or bottle, along with a range of beers, non alcoholic drinks and coffee.
